Full Arch Dental Implants in Reddick

A failing upper or lower arch rarely fails all at once. Most Reddick patients we meet have been managing it for years — a bridge that came loose, a molar extracted here and there, a partial denture that stopped fitting after the bone underneath changed shape. Full arch dental implants address the whole arch at once, replacing an entire row of teeth with a fixed set of replacement teeth anchored to a small number of implant posts placed in the jawbone. Instead of repairing one tooth at a time, we rebuild the foundation.

Full arch implants use titanium implant posts placed into the jawbone to support a complete arch of teeth. Because bone fuses to the implant surface, the posts take over the job your natural tooth roots once did — carrying bite force and stimulating the bone so it stays healthy. Depending on your anatomy and goals, the final restoration may be a fixed implant-supported bridge that stays in place permanently or an implant-supported denture that snaps securely onto the implants and comes out for cleaning. Both options are a significant step up from a conventional denture that rests on the gums.

We see Reddick patients come to us for this treatment from several directions. Some are facing extraction of the remaining teeth in an arch because of advanced gum disease or fractured roots. Others have worn complete dentures for years and are tired of adhesives, sore spots, and avoiding foods they used to enjoy. A third group still has a few teeth left but knows those teeth are not going to last, and would rather plan the rebuild now than keep patching. We also offer All-on-4 and Teeth In A Day approaches, and our prosthodontic and periodontal services include implant placement, bone grafting, and sinus lift surgery when the jaw needs rebuilding first.

Candidacy comes down to bone, gum health, and overall health. At your consultation we examine the arch, review your medical history, and evaluate how much bone is available to support implants. Reddick patients who have been missing teeth for a long time often have lost bone volume in the back of the upper jaw or along the lower ridge — that is common and usually workable. Bone grafting or a sinus lift can restore enough volume to place implants securely, and these are procedures we perform in our office.

Active gum disease is treated first. Our periodontal services include scaling and root planing, gum disease treatment, and periodontal surgery, so we can get tissues healthy before implants go in. We also accept patients without a referral for our surgical, periodontal, and prosthodontic care, which means Reddick residents can start and finish treatment with one team rather than being sent across several offices.

What the Process Looks Like

Treatment follows a clear sequence, and we explain each stage before it happens so there are no surprises:

  • Consultation and planning — exam, imaging, discussion of fixed versus removable options, and a written treatment plan
  • Preparatory care — any needed extractions, including surgical extractions, plus bone grafting or sinus lift surgery if indicated
  • Implant placement — posts are placed into the jaw; sedation options include nitrous oxide and oral sedation for patients who want to be more relaxed
  • Healing and provisional teeth — you are not without teeth during healing; a temporary restoration is provided
  • Final restoration — your permanent bridge or implant-supported denture is fitted and adjusted for bite and appearance

Our on-site dental lab matters here. Fabrication, adjustments, and repairs happen in our building rather than being mailed out, which shortens turnaround and lets us fine-tune fit and shade while you are in the chair.

Aftercare, Insurance, and Payment

Implants do not decay, but the gum and bone around them still need care. We provide implant maintenance and periodontal maintenance visits with our hygienist, where we clean around the implants, check the fit of the restoration, and watch the supporting tissues. At home, daily cleaning under a fixed bridge or around the attachments on a removable overdenture is the single most important habit. We show you exactly how, with the specific tools suited to your restoration.

We accept all major PPO insurance plans and file claims as a General Practitioner, and we welcome self-pay patients. Flexible payment plans are available so a full arch case can be spread out rather than paid all at once.
