Why choose us

Benefits of Implant-Supported Dentures

Dentures That Stay Put

Your denture anchors to dental implants, so it stays secure while you eat and talk.

Confident Chewing

A stabilized arch lets you bite into foods that slipping dentures make difficult.

On-Site Dental Lab

Our in-house lab means we handle fabrication, adjustments, and repairs right here.

Start-To-Finish Care

We place the implants and restore them under one roof, with no referral needed.

Flexible Payment Options

We accept all major PPO plans and self-pay, and we offer flexible payment plans.

If you have ever had to think twice about biting into a sandwich, laughed with a hand over your mouth, or felt a lower denture lift at the worst possible moment, you already understand the problem implant-supported dentures were designed to solve. A traditional denture rests on the gums and relies on suction, adhesive, and a bit of luck. An implant-supported denture is anchored to titanium implants placed in the jawbone, so the teeth stay where you put them — while you eat, speak, laugh, and go about an ordinary day without thinking about your teeth at all.

An implant-supported denture is a full or partial arch of replacement teeth that attaches to dental implants rather than sitting loose on the gum tissue. The implants act like tooth roots. Depending on your needs, the denture can be removable — often called a snap-in denture, which you take out at night and click back into place in the morning — or fixed, meaning it stays in the mouth and only we remove it at an appointment. We provide both, along with related options such as All-on-4 dental implants, full arch and full mouth dental implants, implant-supported bridges, and Teeth In A Day, so the conversation can start with your goals instead of a single product.

The people who benefit most tend to fall into a few familiar groups. Some have worn a complete or partial denture for years and are tired of adhesive, sore spots, and a loose lower plate. Some are facing the loss of remaining teeth to advanced decay or gum disease and want a plan before extractions happen. Others are missing several teeth in one area and want something sturdier than a removable partial. We see patients from Ocala, Belleview, Summerfield, The Villages, Lady Lake, Dunnellon, Silver Springs, and the surrounding Marion County communities who arrive with exactly these concerns, and the first visit is simply a conversation and an evaluation — no referral is needed.

Candidacy comes down to a few practical things: enough healthy bone to hold implants, gum tissue in good condition, and a treatment plan that accounts for any teeth that need to come out first. If bone volume is thin after years of tooth loss, that is a common finding rather than a dead end. We offer bone grafting and sinus lift surgery to rebuild a foundation, and we treat active gum disease with scaling and root planing, periodontal therapy, and regenerative procedures before implants go in. Simple and surgical extractions and wisdom teeth removal are handled here as well, so most of your care happens under one roof.

A few things are worth knowing before you begin. Implant treatment is a staged process, and healing time between implant placement and the final denture is normal and necessary. Smoking, uncontrolled diabetes, and untreated grinding can affect healing, so we ask about your health history and habits openly. If dental anxiety has kept you away, we offer nitrous oxide and oral sedation. And our on-site dental lab is a real advantage here — it allows same-day crowns, dentures, and denture repairs, and it means adjustments and relines are handled quickly rather than mailed away and waited on.

Living With Your New Teeth: Aftercare And Results

For the first stretch after implant placement, you will eat softer foods and keep the surgical sites clean with the specific instructions we give you. Once your final denture is in place, daily care is straightforward but not optional. Removable snap-in dentures come out for cleaning and overnight soaking; fixed dentures are cleaned around and underneath with floss threaders, interdental brushes, or a water flosser.

Long-term success depends on maintenance. Implants do not decay, but the gum and bone around them can become inflamed if plaque builds up, which is why we provide implant maintenance and periodontal maintenance visits alongside regular exams, cleanings, and oral cancer screenings. Attachment components on snap-in dentures wear over time and are replaced as part of routine upkeep. Patients typically report firmer chewing, clearer speech, and a more confident smile — and because implants stimulate the jawbone, they help preserve the facial structure that shrinks when teeth are missing.

Insurance, Payment, And Getting Started

We accept all major PPO insurance plans and file claims as a general practice, and we welcome self-pay and cash patients. For treatment that spans several appointments, flexible payment plans let you spread the investment out, and we will go over estimated coverage and your options in writing before anything begins.

Ocala Dental Care has served this community for more than 30 years, and Dr. Hussein Salifu and Dr. Marco Geris would be glad to look at your situation and tell you honestly what is possible. Call us to schedule a consultation — we will take it one clear step at a time.
